There is a fashion/photo conference thing going on in the south of France and it seems like a lot of street style bloggers are there because there are an absurd number of photos of pretty girls looking relaxed surrounded by lavender all over the internet. I find them very refreshing after looking at the awkward outfits at Coachella (see the dreaded style.com).
For instance, I love this girl.

I’ve really been into batik lately. Drove all the way to Coquitlam to go to the H&M store (why? why even bother?) and ended up at the local Value Village, where I got a great batik dress, head wrap and necklace for $10. Way better than the mall.

Here is a picture from Small Change. Still can’t think of how to articulate what it is I love about the look of this film. Something very French and casual, even in the camera work.

The two kids here in the green shirts are real trouble makers.

Hello friends,
I am having some technical difficulties. I think my computer is too old for blogs. Actually, I think I am too old for blogs. Thank you for your patience, I will try to fix it by week’s end.

I know this is a bit of a lame post. I was trying to write something about the Truffaut movie Small Change but I am a bit short on smart this week, so I gave up.
However, I found these amazing chairs on the style.com. Hand beaded chairs. Crazy.

Wall tents. Sometimes I can’t even express how rad some things are. So, like the lady mariachi post from yesterday, I am letting the pictures do all the talking. Let me just draw your attention to wall tent #4. It’s in Russia of course. Oh those Russians and their pink (pink!) wall tents.
