In the old days, folk singers wore ties. It was such a great look, and no one did it better than Pete Seeger. I know I’ve been a bit nostalgic lately, what with the postings about bohemians and naturalists, but it really is a solid look for guys– the gentleman radical.

This album cover is especially dear to me because my father had this record. My husband’s father liked Pete Seeger too, which may be why we were drawn to each other (well, that and the fact that we wear the same size pants).
