I don’t know what it is, but I like it
It’s not often I come across an online store that I get excited about. But the Cumulus Project by Vancouver based artist Carey Ann Schaefer is just one of those things. An online concept store that features a single one-of-a-kind item for sale at a time. Each item is seemingly unrelated to the last. They are, for lack of a better term, functional art objects.
I love when someone can take something dull and predictable, like online commerce and turn it on its head and give it a spanking, all the while making objects of integrity. Well-done!
